Our Sunday morning.

Fort Sam Houston Cemetery was very quiet and still when Sylvia and I arrived this morning at 07:00. We were about the first people there. The flags to be used when decorating the graves were still bundled in the bins, waiting to be distributed to us volunteers.

By 09:00 we were busy, Lady Sylvia and me and over a thousand others. As we planted each flag we announced out loud the name of the service member buried there and thanked them for their service.
